What Lab Assistant 2026 is

परिचय

Lab Assistant 2026 is the board's combined direct recruitment of Lab Assistants and Junior Lab Assistants for six departments: Secondary Education, Agriculture, Sanskrit Education, the State Forensic Science Laboratory, Public Health Engineering and College Education (Geography). Advertisement 05/2026 offered 804 posts; the amended advertisement of 3 July 2026 raised them to 1,315, with 500 more Lab Assistant Grade III posts in Secondary Education and 11 more in the State Forensic Science Laboratory. There is no CET step.

The exam was planned for 9 May 2026 (Geography) and 10 May 2026 (science). The result came on 14 August 2026, and the selected candidates are now in document verification.

Is the Lab Assistant 2026 result out?
Yes. On 14 August 2026 the board published the result and cut-off marks for document verification, with provisional merit lists, separately for Lab Assistant and Junior Lab Assistant and for Lab Assistant (Geography). The final answer keys followed on 18 August 2026.
