What Raj-CES 2026 is

परिचय

Raj-CES 2026 is the board's recruitment of Teaching Associates on contract for the Rajasthan College Education Society (Raj-CES). Advertisement 06/2026 offers 3,540 posts in 32 subjects; the largest are Hindi (393), Geography (365), History (355), Political Science (339) and English (314). There is no CET step: candidates sit the board's own exam.

The pay is Rs 28,850 a month, fixed. The first contract runs for up to five years, or until the society's term ends, and can be extended up to three years at a time, never past the age of 60.

For the arts, commerce, humanities, education, law, social science, science, language and journalism subjects, applicants needed a Master's degree with 55 percent in the subject plus NET, SLET or SET, or a Ph.D. under the UGC rules, and an age of 21 to 40 on 1 January 2027. Applications ran from 5 May to 3 June 2026.

When is the Raj-CES 2026 exam?
On 17 November 2026 and on 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 21 December 2026, with one morning shift on 17 November and on 14, 17, 18 and 21 December, and two shifts on the other days. The advertisement had planned it for August to October 2026; the board's press note of 28 September 2026 set these dates. It may be held on computer, on tablet or on paper with an OMR sheet.
